Last term visit to the Ministry of Environment.
To finish last term, our English teacher proposed us to visit an exhibition about
Our Natural Heritage. At first sight, it was a boring activity but we went out of school for a couple of hours. It sounded interesting. However, at the end, we loved it.
The way to the "Quinta de Cervantes", where the ministry is placed, was funny; the weather was fantastic, sunny and cool. When we arrived there, we were taken some photos and started the activity half in English, half in Spanish. It was quite interesting to guess that apart from monuments, cathedrals and museums, enviromental heritage also exists. Our mountains, biodiversity, rivers, seas... are part of it. We visited some cities from this point of view: Ibiza, Cáceres, Córdoba... and of course, Alcalá de Henares. The monitors were cool and invited us to do some other activities with them.
We spent a very nice time. Till next one!
